NEW YORK, June 27 (Reuters) - The New York Times reported
the following stories on its front page on Thursday:
* The S.E.C. filed fraud charges against WorldCom <WCOM.O>
on Wednesday, and President Bush vowed to "hold people
accountable" for the bookkeeping scandal.
* Ten years after the federal government set out to clean
up the mammography industry, many women are still getting
inaccurate examinations at clinics bearing the federal seal of
approval.
* President Bush told allies Wednesday that the United
States would cut off aid to the Palestinians if they failed to
embrace changes he demanded on Monday.
* While Arizona's wildfires have brought attention to the
resort town of Show Low, the blaze has caused lasting damage to
Apache Indian land.
